Eastern loop ride
We begin our scooter ride by crossing the vineyard of Vouvray and make a wine tasting at the castle of Valmer. Then through the small roads we reach Amboise and its famous castle, where Leonardo da Vinci spent the rest of his life. Our journey then takes us to the Cher valley where we enjoy a picnic at the edge of the water. It is Chenonceau that opens the doors of its gardens and its castle for a most dazzling visit. We finish this beautiful day along the valley of the Indre which brings us back to Tours.
Western loop ride
Villandry Castle will be the first to come to us, then it will be the castle ofLangeais that we'll reach along the Loire. it is at the Castle of the Sleeping Beauty in Ussé that we will stop and visit. A picnic break will be welcome on the banks of the Indre river. We will ride our scooters again to reach Azay le Rideau and follow the valley of the Indre so dear to the french writer Balzac.
Far from the conventional day trips excursions, we invite you to come and share our best itineraries in Touraine and discover in an original way our beautiful region. Riding a vintage scooter we will take you through the small roads of the vineyards of Vouvray or the valley of Indre river, berth of most Balzac roman, you will enjoy a picnic of local products and a wine tasting as well as a castle visit. Laurent, your guide will be eager for comments and stories to punctuate this scooter ride in the Loire Valley. Two itineraries are offered, a westbound loop including Vouvray, Amboise and Chenonceau and a loop to the east including Langeais, Ussé and the valley of Indre river.
