Day 1 - Chauvigny

Arrival in Chauvigny and hotel check in.

Day 2 - Aubusson - Uzerche

You will cross the Millevaches plateau, one of the most remote and isolated part of France. You will ride around the Vassivière lake and stop in treignac, a listed village with nice balcony on Vézère river. From there you will reach Uzerche in Corrèze through Monédières hills.

Day 3 - Chauvigny - Aubusson

Your will start your ride by the medieval village of Angles sur l'Anglin, then you will follow the Gartempe river valley and stop in Oradour sur Glane, a martyr town from second world war. You will goind around Limoges by the Ambazac hills until you reach Aubusson, hometown of medieval tapestry factory.

Day 4 - Uzerche - Sarlat

You will follow the Vézère valley to the villages of Turenne and Collonges la Rouge, the red city. The road will take you to some of the most preserved villages of Corrèze : Carenac, Bretenoux, Autoire and finally its most known : Rocamadour. The Dordogne valley will take you to Sarlat. in the heart of Périgord.

If you’re in the mood for lonely motorcycle rides with wide open spaces, country lanes, old stone buildings and rich history, you don’t need to look any further. Come relax away from the bustle of everyday life. You won’t find modern cities here, but you’ll discover authentic “terroir”, rich local culture in Aubusson, history in the martyr village of Oradour sur Glane, and lush greenery on the plateau of Millevaches. Lake Vassivière is filled with old stone buildings and Collonges la Rouge has exquisite crafts by local artisans. You will leave this motorcycle tour with the desire to return to this region one day.
