Jour 2 - Thonon - Innertkirchen

From Lake Geneva you'll move on to the Chablais massif, then stop off in Gruyères, famous not only for its cheese but also for its imposing fortress. Finally, you'll stay on Lake Brienz at the foot of the Jungfrau peak.

You leave the valley to tackle the mythical high passes of the Alps. A day full of twists and turns will take you over the iconic passes of the great Alps: Gotthard, Furka, Grimsel. An unforgettable ride. Finally, you'll make your way down to the Lake Lugano and Lake Como region, where you'll be able to recover from your emotions.

 

Jour 4 - Lac de Côme - Chiavenna

You can't leave Lake Como without visiting its most famous village: Bellagio. Then, all along the shores of the lake, you can visit the Moto Guzzi factory museum in Mandello del Lario. Finally, you'll leave the turquoise shores for the foothills of the Alps, where you'll spend the night at the foot of the Stelvio.

After skirting the typical Swiss valleys towards St Moritz, you'll tackle the endless twists and turns of the Stelvio Pass, one of the highest road passes in the Alps, with its breathtaking views from the summit. You'll then enter Italy's South Tyrol region of Alto Adige and drive through vineyards and orchards to stay in the heart of the Dolomite massif, at the top of a panoramic pass.

Many more passes on today's menu, including the Giau and the Marmolada. But it's above all the summit of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo that will leave you speechless. Then it's on to Austria, where you'll find one of the most beautiful alpine roads known to motorcyclists everywhere: the Grossglockner, criss-crossed in summer by thousands of bikers from all over Europe.

 

Jour 7 - Grossglockner - Garmisch

You'll start your day on the magnificent Grossglockner panoramic route, then on to the impressive Krimml Falls, the highest in Europe, before crossing the Tyrol region to enter Bavaria and its largest mountain resort: Garmisch Partenkirchen.

You'll stop off in Oberammergau, a village famous for its wall paintings, then the majestic Neuschwanstein castle awaits you. Finally, the Alpenstrasse takes you to the Voralberg region near Lake Contance.

The Alpentrasse brings you back to France, without missing the shores of Lake Constance and the magnificent Rhine Falls at Schaffhausen. You'll reach Alsace via the Black Forest massif and stay in one of its most beautiful villages near Colmar: Eguisheim.
