It is the Douro Valley that welcomes you to start this motorcycle adventure in Portugal. You will follow these magnificent roads that wind through the famous vineyard. Then it is in Arouca where you can admire the panorama of the surroundings before returning to the coast and the charming seaside resort of Costa Nove with its colorful houses. Only a few kilometers away stands Aveiro, the Venice of Portugal where you will stay for the night.

You head towards Louso inland to stop in Coimbra, famous for its university, the oldest in Europe. Then you will ride the road to Serra da Lousa, known for its typical little schist villages lost in the mountains and almost inhabited. You will finally reach the seaside resort of Nazaré from where you can observe the famous super waves popular with surfers from all over the world. If the wind allows it of course.

You will take the direction of Lisbon following the coast and visit the typical coastal village of Peniche, this fishing port dominated by its fortress. The scenic route will then take you to one of Portugal's most emblematic castles, Sintra. You will have to follow the coast and cross the charming resort of Cascais to arrive in Lisbon.

A complete free day in Lisbon to enjoy its countless monuments and typical districts such as Alfama or Rossio. Take the elevator of Santa Justa and immerse yourself in its shopping streets where you still can feel the olds days and end up on the port on the huge commerce square facing the the ocean. For lunch, don't miss the Time Out Market where you can taste all the variety of the portugese gastronomy.

You leave Lisbon by the legendary 25th of April suspended bridge to admire the cliffs of Cabo Espichel near Setubal. Then along the superb corniche road of the Serra da Arrabida you will take the ferry to reach the Troia peninsula. You will follow the wild coast punctuated by a few typical seaside resorts such as Sines or Porto Covo.

You travel through the Alentejo region and its countless historic villages such as Moura, Mourao or Monsaraz to end in the Unesco-listed city of Evora.

You leave the city of Evora to begin your way up north through the Serra de Ossa. You can admire the 12th century castle of Evoramonte which dominates the Serra. Then after a stop in the white city of Estremoz, you will still have to stroll through the alleys of the two perched villages classified among the most beautiful in Portugal: Castelo de Vide and Marvao, before joining your stopover for the day in Castelo Branco which will allow you to enjoy the many historical monuments of this superb city.

Your first stop today will be for Monsanto, one of the most beautiful villages in inland Portugal. Then you will begin your ride accross the Serra da Estrela, a mountainous region exceptional for its beauty and altitude. You will cross the glacial valley of the Zezere then go up to the beautiful historic town of Viseu where you can taste the charms of its medieval streets.

You go north through the Serra de Monterumo region to ride along the banks of the Douro River. You can admire the numerous overlook points available. Then after stopping at Lamego to visit the sanctuary of Our Lady of Remedies which dominates the city from its 600 m with its endless stairs, you will leave the banks of the Douro to reach the historic town of Amarante.

Today you will have the opportunity to visit the most beautiful historic cities of northern Portugal, Braga and Guimaraés. You will fall under the spell of the sanctuary of Bom Jesus which dominates the city of Braga and the beauty of the wild park of the summit of Penha in Guimaraes. You will then reach Porto by the coastal road.

It will take a full day to enjoy all the treasures offered by the magnificent city of Porto. From its docks of the Ribeira, along the Douro, to the old town and its cathedral. You can also stroll through the streets and on the river banks of Villa Nova de Gaia, headquarters of all the major Porto brands.
