ITINERARY

• Day 1

  Arrival in Porto:

  Participants’ arrival, hotel check-in, free time to explore Porto, followed by a group briefing and welcome aperitif.

• Day 2

  Porto – Aveiro (170 km):

  The Douro Valley welcomes you as you begin this motorcycle adventure in Portugal. After winding roads through the vineyards and the Arouca panorama, the route heads towards the coast and Costa Nova with its colourful houses, before reaching Aveiro, the Venice of Portugal.

• Day 3

  Aveiro – Nazaré (260 km):

  Our route takes us from the spa village of Luso and the magnificent Buçaco Palace to the picturesque schist villages, before discovering the sanctuary of Fátima and the legendary seaside resort of Nazaré.

• Day 4

  Nazaré – Lisbon (210 km):

  Heading towards the coastal town of Peniche and its fortress, the charming medieval village of Óbidos, then to the westernmost point of Europe at Cabo da Roca, before reaching the seaside resort of Cascais and the capital, Lisbon.

• Day 5

  Lisbon:

  Free day, or take the opportunity to explore Lisbon, the picturesque Alfama district, stroll across the majestic Commerce Square, admire the view from the Santa Justa Lift, and soak up the lively atmosphere of Rossio Square.

• Day 6

  Lisbon – Vila Nova de Milfontes (245 km):

  Heading towards the 25 de Abril Bridge and the Cristo Rei monument, then through the Serra da Arrábida before riding along the Bay of Setúbal, the wild headland of Cabo Espichel and the Troia Peninsula. The route then continues to the unspoilt beaches of Porto Covo and the coastal village of Vila Nova de Milfontes.

• Day 7

  Vila Nova de Milfontes – Carvoeiro (160 km):

  We will discover the Serra de Monchique and its charming village before reaching the summit of Foia. The route then leads to the spectacular beaches of Marinha and Benagil, followed by the listed village of Odeceixe and the seaside resort of Carvoeiro.

• Day 8

  Carvoeiro – Évora (320 km):

  Our route crosses the villages of Moura and Mourão, then Alte, before discovering the medieval castle of Mértola. We then explore the hilltop village of Monsaraz and finish in the historic centre of Évora, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

• Day 9

  Évora – Castelo Branco (210 km):

  We continue our ride towards the castle of Evoramonte, before reaching Estremoz, the “white city” of Alentejo. The route then takes us to the picturesque village of Castelo de Vide and on to the hilltop village of Marvão, overlooking the Spanish border.

• Day 10

  Castelo Branco – Viseu (250 km):

  Our route leads us into the Serra da Estrela Natural Park and the glacial Zêzere Valley, then to the listed village of Monsanto, perched on its rocky outcrop, before reaching the historic centre of Viseu.

• Day 11

  Viseu – Porto (245 km):

  Heading towards Lamego and its Sanctuary of Our Lady of Remedies, then the villages of Pinhão and Peso da Régua. We then enjoy the panorama from the Imaginaire viewpoint in Mesão Frio, at the heart of the emblematic landscapes of the Douro Valley, before concluding our journey in Porto.

• Day 12

  Porto:

  Free day, or take the opportunity to visit a Port wine cellar in Vila Nova de Gaia, stroll through the famous Livraria Lello, admire the azulejos at the railway station, discover the picturesque Ribeira district and Porto Cathedral.

• Day 13

  Porto:

  Participants depart after breakfast.
